Iron Fish is a psychological deep-sea thriller, set 11 miles below the surface of the Pacific Ocean. Play as Cerys Harley as she delves into the depths, investigating a series of mysterious disturbances to the sea life.
The game is a creative collaboration between BeefJack and Dean Edwards. Dean came to us with the idea for a deep-sea horror adventure and we helped him fine-tune his concept, flesh out a look and feel, choose appropriate technology and build towards a high-end indie game in the Unreal 4 engine.
BeefJack then moved into production, providing full development, art, narrative design and project management. We worked closely with Dean, ensuring his ideas and creative vision were maintained at all times. We also provided market analysis and business support to help drive the project forward towards launch.
Working closely in partnership with our sister company, BeefJack Promote, we were able to build substantial hype surrounding the game. Its announcement was featured on all the major games websites, its trailer received 30,000 views in its first day, and the game was Greenlit for release on Steam within just 72 hours.
